I'm wondering if the brown blanket is for her to snuggle up to, or to keep her from clawing/ruining your furniture. She sure is cute, ingrate or not. I have a cat she could tell long anecdotes with about how they put up with us.
Yeah the blanket is just to protect the furniture - we got a really good deal on these Barcelona chairs awhile back but the cats started to tear them up a little (sacrilege, I know) so we got some blankets from army surplus to put on top of them.
Maybe Inez needs a play date with Mini the 20-pound female cat! Mini is, of course, the sourest of all sour pusses.
