Not much of a surprise, but French Vogue announced today that Emmanuelle Alt will succeed Carine Roitfeld as the publication's Rédactrice en Chef.
[via style bible]Going through past issues of the magazine recently to review Carine's time at the helm – more on that later – made me consider just how much Emmanuelle's sensibility has contributed to its unmistakable viewpoint. Love her look and looking forward to seeing where she takes the mag. I wish I had picked up those Isabel Marant pirate boots when I had the chance--cost be damned--I mean, pirate boots! Enough said.
I have always loved her style - sadly, my body type is not the same. In my mind, I look like her, minus all that smoking which is so francais. She will so great things for the magazine for sure!
