The other day I discovered something cool about cable TV in Seattle: there's a free on-demand channel, and many of the selections are actually worthwhile. Last weekend we caught
Lady in Cement, a totally enjoyable, extremely campy offering from that campiest of years, 1968. I picked up the soundtrack a few years ago and it's great, like just about everything Hugo Montenegro ever touched.

Pick up
Lady in Cement on DVD or VHS for as low as $4.50 at
Amazon, get it from
Netflix, or check it out for free if you are a lucky cable-subscribing Seattle resident.
