Need vs. Want

Filson Limited Edition 1897 Collection* Scarlet Mackinaw Wool Cruiser – Extra Long, $370. I have basically the same coat in dark green but this is still tempting. Want.

*While I absolutely love this coat, I have to say that something about the "1897 Collection" qualifier rubs me the wrong way. I love Filson – always have, always will – and I would prefer it to remain above the scramble for precious "heritage" cred, considering it basically invented this kind of gear. On the other hand, I do want Filson to stay in business, and I understand the marketing reasons behind calling out the pedigree.
So then. Fine. Whatever.
